Get involved, join Croydon Climate Action: https://croydonclimateaction.com/get-involved

Asking questions at full Croydon Council meetings is a great way to find out more about the key environmental issues facing our town. It is democracy in action, it brings issues to key cabinet members in front of the full council chamber with our own councillor representatives in attendance.
Often it results in action from key cabinet members and gets things done and it grabs their attention back from their own priorities to the things that matter to us, the Croydon residents.
The dates of the meetings, the process and the simple form that has to be completed are in the links.
Submit the question 7 working days in advance of the meeting, the earlier you submit it the closer to the top of the list you will be. They allow a fairly strict 30 minutes at the start of each meeting so the ones at the bottom of the list don't always get heard. The questions always get answers which are published on line and printed out for you to collect before the meeting. You can ask your question on line or in person from the public gallery. If you ask a question you will be invited to ask a follow up.
Recent questions we have asked have been, air quality monitors, pesticide reduction, divestment and councillor climate education.
